Two cabins. Two different ways to settle into the woods.

Both share the same commitment to thoughtful design, comfort, and connection to place. The difference is how you imagine spending your days.

Ledge Line

For those who like to linger.

Ledge Line offers a little more room to spread out, making it a natural choice for longer stays and leisurely meals. Mornings begin with coffee in the private Forest Lounge. Afternoons invite reading, conversation, or an apéro beneath the trees. Evenings can unfold around the fire lantern, around the dining table indoors, or with friends gathered nearby. If both cabins are reserved together, chances are Ledge Line becomes the place where everyone gathers for dinner.

Monolith Slumber

For those who like to nest.

Monolith Slumber is designed for a quieter rhythm. Warm, compact, and intentionally simple, it’s a place to sleep deeply, read, listen to music, and wake slowly beneath the trees. Its smaller footprint encourages life to spill outdoors, where breakfast on the terrace, an afternoon coffee, or dinner under the open sky become part of the experience. When both cabins are booked together, the terrace offers an intimate place to share a meal outdoors, while Ledge Line naturally becomes the gathering place indoors when the weather calls for it.

Between the two cabins are a handful of places designed to be discovered naturally. Wander the woodland path to the gardens at Walpole Barn for provisions or one of their seasonal oyster and wine tastings. Gather around the fire circle, play a game of pétanque, or stroll to the nearby town landing as the tides come and go. These shared spaces are intentionally simple, offering just enough structure for conversation, quiet moments, and connection to place.

How a Sculpture Became a Place

How a Sculpture Became a Place

Cache Cache began with a sculpture carved from a single block of Colorado Yule marble. The patience, restraint, and close attention required to shape that work became the philosophy behind the retreat itself.
